I don't claim to be a "Rockstar" developer - I'm just a really geeky guy that loves to make websites that work. I enjoy using languages like Python and Ruby and I have experience with some of these language's most popular frameworks, like Django and Ruby on Rails. I really shine when you throw a PHP server my way and I actually served as the first Community Chieftain for the CodeIgniter framework.

I'm not scared of SQL and have database development and administration experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server. I've even played with PostgreSQL and SQLite.

My websites feature a relentless focus on web standards and accessibility, featuring graceful degredation of CSS3 rules and Javascript frameworks (like jQuery and ExtJS). I've researched HTML5 but have yet to see the benefit of abandoning my beloved xHTML Strict Doctype.

I'm just a geek. I write code all day in my full-time job and try to write more when I get home. I participate in the discussions at Reddit, Hacker News and StackOverflow. Finally, I enjoy a good night of video games (New Super Mario Bros. Wii is awesome) and pen-and-paper RPG games.

I'm not a "Rockstar" - I'm just a guy who gets along with everyone, views my work as getting paid to play, and enjoys discussions regarding the Higgs boson particle, factoring polynomial equations, and why People of Walmart is one of the greatest indicators of America's economic and social future.

Pretty normal, I think.
